What is Grab Radio

The Grab Radio application allows you to listen to the best of World Radio through your iPhone, iTouch or Nokia Smartphone with clear, crisp and constant sound quality. Listen to the radio, see the artwork of the album (iPhone or iTouch only) and Grab or Tag the music you love. GRAB a Tune. Grab Radio allows you to break free from your PC, no more head scratching while trying to remember the name of artists or songs you heard and liked, with Grab Radio you can simply hear a song you like on the radio and ‘Grab’ it through iTunes. By pressing Grab you are taken directly to the iTunes or Ovi store where you can preview and purchase the tune. You can even buy the entire album the song came from. All transactions will go through you iTunes or Ovi account so there is no additional registration required.

TAG a Tune. Tagging a tune allows you to keep a record of that song, along with the artist and album, allowing you to build a collection of desired music. By pressing the Tag button you save all the details in a personalised list. An easy way to build up a music most wanted collection.

Thumbs Up/ Thumbs Down. Want to tell a radio station what you think of their current broadcast? Grab Radio allows you to connect with radio stations, a simple click of Thumbs up/ Thumbs down can let the station know if you like their music choice or not. This feature can also be used to comment on talk radio and even take part in radio polls. This feature is currently available on Nokia phones and it will be coming soon to the iPhone.

More. Instantly connect to an artist’s YouTube Videos or link to their Facebook, Twitter and MySpace accounts via the ‘More’ button Find out the latest news from your favourite artists or bands.

Shazam. When there is no song or artist info all you have to do is press the Shazam button and the tune is identified. Grab, Tag or Shazam songs you hear on the radio to increase your music collection.

Alternative Devices

Grab Radio currently works on Apple iPhone, iTouch and Nokia X6 and N8 smartphones. We will be releasing Grab Radio for other mobile products in the near future.
