Who We Are
Grab Radio is an application developed by Global Internet Radio Technologies.
Global Internet Radio Technologies is a company that specialises in the provision of mobile applications for progressive, technology focused radio stations. We have experts working on both sides of the Atlantic with extensive knowledge in the provision of multi-media solutions for a variety of different platforms.
Focus
Our primary focus is on providing interactive rich-media streaming solutions for our customers so that listeners can access and interact with radio programmes on their mobile devices. Whilst our first applications have been developed specially for the Apple iPhone and iTouch products our plan is to follow suit with solutions for other mobile products in the near future.
What we do
We provide a software product called Grab Radio which enables ‘on the spot’ grabbing of tunes via. iTunes, location based, music driven social networking and a unique platform for advertisers to sponsor shows/competitions etc.
Global Internet Radio Technologies works with forward thinking radio stations who are open to the new opportunities presented by these mobile platforms.
Our team of experts can also offer invaluable advice on convergence strategy so that any mobile based developments can be fed into ‘on-line’ streaming and vice versa.
We help radio stations to improve the efficiency of their service and assist them in such things as the provision of metadata, video, and interactive content accessed over wi-fi Edge and 3G networks.
